Combat 1

  Pascal du Kosto des Lascards vs Tor des Castagneux Sentimentaux.

  Tanned, muscled and beefy prettyboy Tor challenges hairy and tattooed hulk Pascal. However powerful Tor may be, he seems perhaps a little intimidated by the renowned brawler from the streets of ill-repute! Both of these hunks are on their guard: Tor plays defence and Pascal does his best to size-up the prettyboy's skill. After countering and reversing holds, they finally hurl each other to the mat, and we are soon enthralled by the sight of studs locked in close, sweaty combat. Technique and finesse go out the window when compared with the sheer brute strength of these two titans!
  There is no submission during the first 18 minutes and, before long, you're wishing that it may never end! Tor's head slides out of Pascal's sweaty face-to-crotch headscissors, and, by turns, each wrestler fails to smother or choke the other. At one point Pascal seems to lose all hope as, exhausted and dripping with sweat, he is crushed by Tor's magnificent thighs in a truly painful bodyscissors. Before long though, it's pay-back time, with Pascal brutalising Tor in a series of devastating arm- and leglocks. Both guys battle to near-total exhaustion - and to a final (and surprising) choke submission, as exciting as anything seen so far in this titanic struggle.
  Gracious in defeat, the vanquished fighter is all smiles as he congratulates the winner (and for those of you who know the characters concerned, this may well give you a clue as to the identity of the eventual winner!).

Combat 2

  Chême des Typhons et Pythons vs Christophe de la Fosse aux Molosses.

  Right from the start, the current of animosity flowing between these two evenly-matched, fit young lions is overwhelming. Cautious sparring soon gives way to a truly fast and furious brawl, with each fighter striving again and again to gain the upper hand amidst a two-way barrage of insults and abuse! In addition to the usual high-quality, 'up-close-and-personal' camerawork at ground level, shots taken from above the mat enhance the experience by proving a birds-eye view of the enraged gladiators in full flight.
  Given these levels of testosterone, it's not just a question of who comes out on top - more a question of who comes out alive! Fasten your seatbelts - you have been warned!

Combat 3

  Dominique des Castagneux Sentimentaux vs Robert des Castagneux Sentimentaux.

  From the first two bouts (positively cracking with hostility and sheer brute strength), the temperature is lowered a few degrees as we move on to a third impressive man-on-man encounter - as good a demonstration of sustained, skillful grappling as you're ever likely to see. The fighters are evenly matched throughout, countering each others moves with, at times, dizzying speed, and employing just about every trick in the book. There may be no venom in evidence, but don't be fooled: each is out to win, and win convincingly. The skills, stamina and focus of these two magnificent athletes will amaze you.
